About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel lucky to work at Kaiser Permanente with my great colleagues and wonderful members, and look forward to working with you to care for your health.
Biography
I was born in Oregon and spent most of my youth there. I went to college at UC Berkeley and attended medical school at UC San Diego. I have lived in San Diego since 1984. I completed a residency in internal medicine at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center. I love living in San Diego for the countless outdoor activities it offers.
About my practice
I feel that healthy living—with a focus on exercise and avoiding tobacco—and preventive care, are the best ways to stay healthy. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in your care.
How I thrive
My hobbies outside of medicine include rock climbing and cooking—and, of course, the eating that follows the cooking!
