About Me

I was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, also known as "the Swamp." I attended the University of Florida for both my undergraduate studies and medical school. I then decided to travel west to another sunny location for my psychiatric residency training at the University of California, Irvine. I started working for Kaiser Permanente in Southern California in 2011 and immediately loved the integrated care model. In 2014 I made the decision to move to Denver and was fortunate enough to continue my work with Kaiser Permanente (while also learning how to ski!). I was honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2019.

About my practice

I take great pride in the privilege of being able to work collaboratively with my patients to help improve their overall mental health and well-being. My practice involves medication management of most psychiatric illnesses, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, etc. I will see any adult over the age of 18. Our Highline Behavioral Health Center includes a team of mental health therapists who can provide individualized, one-on-one counseling to help complement the efficacy of medication. The integrated system of Kaiser Permanente allows me to coordinate care with your primary care providers and other specialists in order to ensure the safest, most effective treatment plan for you.

How I thrive

Outside of work, I try to exercise more days than not through yoga, running and weights. I also love spending time with my family, which includes my 120-pound Bullmastiff “baby.”
