About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I specialize in care for the frail and elderly. My goal is to help the senior population improve their function, quality of life, and independence.

Biography

Growing up in Corona, California, I was interested in the sciences from a young age. I completed my undergraduate studies at UCLA, where I studied biology. After finishing college, I left sunny Southern California to attend medical school in Chicago. I returned to Southern California to complete my residency training in family medicine at Kaiser Permanente’s Fontana Medical Center. I also completed a one-year fellowship at Kaiser Permanente’s Los Angeles Medical Center.

About my practice

Taking care of the senior population is deeply gratifying. Specifically, I take care of patients in a skilled nursing facility and nursing home setting, where I work with an interdisciplinary team. I have a particular interests in dementia, the potential for adverse reactions from using multiple medications, and helping people recover from falls. It is important for me to practice what I preach. I’m frequently inspired by eighty-year-olds who are very active and healthy.

How I thrive

I ove spending time with my wife and son. I enjoy going on walks and hikes with my wife, and playing basketball or tennis with friends.
