About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page! I am excited to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you.

Biography

I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. After attending Cornell University in New York for my undergraduate studies, I attended medical school at Boston University. During medical school, I became interested in ophthalmology because the eyes play such a vital role in our everyday lives. Ophthalmologists can have an enormous impact on vision and quality of life, so I decided to dedicate myself to this field. After serving as chief resident during my ophthalmology residency, I returned to Southern California to practice.

About my practice

My philosophy is to treat all members as if they were part of my own family. I feel it is very important to have a doctor who is warm, ethical, and trustworthy. I strive to provide quality care for members through current medical knowledge and advanced surgical techniques. My passion is minimally invasive refractive cataract surgery, where members are evaluated based on their eye health and their unique desires for their vision. I have expertise in standard distance vision lenses, as well as premium intraocular lenses that can correct astigmatism and near vision. The most rewarding aspect of my job is probably when members tell me that cataract surgery changed their lives.

How I thrive

Living a healthy, balanced lifestyle has always been important to me. I feel best when I am physically active. I am a runner, but I also enjoy other forms of exercise. I try to eat healthy and practice self-care every day. I also love spending time with my husband and 2 wonderful children.
