About Me

Welcome! I have been a pediatrician at Kaiser Permanente since 1997. I joined this medical group because of its commitment to always moving forward toward the goal of better health services and health maintenance for our members and our community.

Biography

I grew up in Alaska and moved to Southern California to finish my medical education. I became a pediatrician because I enjoy children and want to help children and their families lead healthy lives.

About my practice

I believe that if we teach children healthy lifestyles when they are young, they will have a better opportunity to be healthy their entire lives. As parents, one of our primary concerns is our children's health and well-being. As a pediatrician, my goal is to help children maintain their health and, when they are ill, to provide them with the best services possible to return them to health. It is a pleasure and an honor for me to be a part of so many children's lives as they grow up.

How I thrive

In this busy world, staying healthy is a challenge for us all. My family and my patients help keep me well. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children. We like to hike, bicycle, go on picnics, play Frisbee and board games together. My family and my patients help me keep a perspective on what the truly important things are in life.
