About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have this opportunity to tell you about myself. I hope that you can get to know me better and that we can be partners in your health!

Biography

My career in medicine is inspired by my father, who was a family physician. He instilled in me the importance of gentleness and compassion in the practice of medicine. I strive to always incorporate these traits in my work with children with special needs.

About my practice

I work as a subspecialist in the Pediatrics Department as a developmental and behavioral pediatrician. I care for children with developmental, educational, and behavioral problems. I collaborate with other subspecialists at Kaiser Permanente and utilize community resources to achieve a comprehensive treatment plan for my patients. I also strongly believe that positive family involvement leads to better results, so I regard my patients’ family members as the other “subspecialists” in my practice.

How I thrive

I believe in staying healthy, both in mind and body. I do about 30 to 60 minutes of exercise at least four days a week; more if I can. I’ve been doing yoga, Zumba, Pilates, and step aerobics consistently for about a year now, and the rewards reaped in terms of mind and body wellness have been remarkable. I have not forgotten “retail therapy,” which I do about once a week — I love a good bargain! I have taken a few dancing lessons, and I am looking forward to more!
