About Me

I have known since I was a little girl that I wanted to teach in some capacity. I love working with people. During my undergraduate years, I fell in love with physiology, and in particular, the auditory system. Audiology was a natural choice for my profession and Kaiser Permanente is a perfect fit due to our emphasis on patient education. I have always been thankful that I love what I do.I am originally from Greenwich, Conn., but now consider myself a southerner. I am an urban dweller and reside in Decatur with my family.

About my practice

I have been practicing audiology for almost 25 years. My emphasis has been with pediatrics, especially in the area of auditory processing. I strive to look at the "whole patient" in order to incorporate their hearing abilities, processing abilities and vestibular strengths into their daily lives.

How I thrive

I thrive by being open to new ideas and learning new ways to look at the world. I do this through reading, volunteering, attending theater, meeting new people and spending time with family and close friends.
