About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am excited to have this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I am committed to providing high-quality care to all my patients, and I sincerely look forward to working with you toward your goal of better health.

Biography

I was born in Korea but grew up in Dallas, Texas. I attended the University of Texas in Austin and then continued my medical training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. I received special training in urology at UC Irvine Medical Center and then joined Kaiser Permanente to start my medical career in 1995.

About my practice

I specialize in urology, which is a surgical specialty treating urinary disorders of men, women, and children. Urology is a field with many technical advances, which makes it both exiting and rewarding for me. My practice is in general urology. I treat common urological problems such as prostate conditions, kidney stones, and various urological cancers, among others. Kaiser Permanente has been a great place to practice medicine because there are so many skilled physicians and staff striving for the same goal of keeping our members healthy.

How I thrive

It’s important to me to maintain a proper balance between my professional and personal life. Playing with my two kids keeps me in shape, but I also try to stay fit with weight and cardio training, playing tennis and golf, and snowboarding. I also enjoy travelling to different places to experience other cultures and taking photographs. In order to achieve one’s best health, a person and his or her physician must work together as a team. I consider my patients and I as partners in reaching that goal.
