About Me

I am originally from Salida, Colorado, and attended CU for medical school. I then completed my dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. After residency, I practiced dermatology in Denver, and then relocated to a practice in Boulder after meeting my husband. I joined Kaiser Permanente in November 2016 after seven years in private practice. I am very happy to be a part of this wonderfully integrated medical system. The fantastic office staff, my dermatology colleagues and providers from other medical departments make it easy to provide comprehensive care to members.

About my practice

I believe the relationship between a physician and a patient should be one based on trust, mutual respect and open communication. I will do whatever is in your best interest. I find the field of dermatology incredibly interesting and continue to learn from my patients. As a physician, I have the opportunity to help people in a meaningful way, utilizing knowledge and medical training, but also by listening to patients’ concerns and responding to what each individual patient needs. It is a privilege to help you with your concerns, facilitate getting the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with you and your loved ones. In the office I will do my best to address your dermatologic issues. I look forward to meeting you and I am open to hearing your thoughts on how we can exceed your expectations in the dermatology department.

How I thrive

Being a working mom with a toddler, it’s important for me to take care of myself, so that I can continue to take the best care of others. I thrive by getting up early, which is my only quiet time of the day. I fill my evenings and weekends with family activities, and I enjoy skiing, hiking and biking.
