About Me

Welcome to my Web page and thank you for taking the time to visit. I am glad to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members, and I sincerely look forward to working with you to meet your health care needs and help you stay healthy.

Biography

Growing up, I lived in Utah, Colorado, and Michigan until my family made its way to sunny San Diego. I graduated from high school in Rancho Penasquitos. I attended UC Berkeley for my undergraduate education and obtained separate degrees in neurobiology and business administration. After college, I worked in the Bay Area performing Parkinson's disease research for two years and then attended medical school at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. I completed my residency in a combined internal medicine and pediatrics program in Phoenix, and am dual board-certified. I am glad to be back in San Diego and practicing at Kaiser Permanente in a clinic near the community I grew up in.

About my practice

It is my privilege to take care of you and your family members; I enjoy taking care of adults and children of all ages. I will do my best to listen to your concerns, provide answers regarding your health, manage your medical conditions, and partner with you so that you can be as healthy as possible.

How I thrive

Outside of work, my greatest joy is spending time with my family, including my wife and the three beautiful daughters we have been blessed with. Some of the activities I enjoy include tennis, basketball, hiking, cooking, watching sports, and reading magazines. My faith is an integral part of my life, and I am an active member of a local Christian church.
