About Me

I was born in the Philippines and immigrated to the United States when I was 6 years old, spending most of my life in Southern California. I graduated from the University of California, San Diego, and went on to the University of the East in the Philippines for medical school. I then completed my residency training at the University of Texas in San Antonio. I chose to be in family medicine because of the variety of patients I get to meet and work with. I love being able to get to know my patients and building relationships with them at every stage in their life.

About my practice

In my practice, I believe in taking the time to truly listen to each individual and working with them to come up with plan that will improve their health and quality of life. I value their input and am a true believer in patient-centered care. I see patients of all ages and focus on prevention and wellness. I follow evidence-based medicine and am continually working on improving my knowledge so I can better help my patients achieve their health goals. I enjoy being a Kaiser Permanente doctor because the organization's vision and values are in line with my own: to provide high-quality health care and improve the health of our members and the community we serve.

How I thrive

Keeping balance in life is very important to me. I am very blessed to have a very supportive husband, a beautiful 3-year-old daughter, and a fur baby named Lucky. We love the outdoors and are so thrilled that we get to live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! I enjoy hiking, biking, baking, and cooking. I love to travel and explore new places and try new things.
