About Me

I am the daughter of a retired United States Marine. I was born in California, but raised in various locations both stateside and abroad. I am the fourth child of eleven children (six adopted). I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Okla. with my undergraduate degree. I obtained my master's degree at Valdosta State University (Go Blazers!!). My major in both undergrad and graduate school was social work. I have always had the desire to empower others to be self-fulfilled. As a social worker, I am able to do this and more for those I serve.

About my practice

I specialize in the treatment of children (ages five and up), adolescents and adults having difficulty coping with a variety of life's stresses. My primary mode of therapeutic intervention is integrative. I believe that we all experience challenges that exhaust our natural abilities to cope. I have the clinical skills and knowledge of resources that can help you regain control and thrive.

How I thrive

In my spare time I enjoy: volunteering, reading, running, hiking and traveling. I enjoy these activities with my husband, children, parents and siblings. We value family and fun. I would not be where I am today without their love and support.
