About Me

I am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Utah, during which I married and had my first of three children. My family and I moved to continue my education at Touro University California in the joint Master of Physician Assistant Studies and Master of Public Health program. During school I worked with some amazing general surgeons and found my love for surgery. I joined Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California and worked in the Surgery Department for three years. I loved living and working in California but my family and I always wanted to move to the Northwest. We relocated to Washington and I look forward to spending my career here with Kaiser Permanente.

About my practice

Kaiser Permanente has a truly amazing patient-centered healthcare system. Our awesome team in the General Surgery Department focuses on each patient and provides the best care possible. I am most satisfied in my practice when a patient gains understanding and clarity in regard to their medical conditions. My goal is to be as thorough as possible and help patients understand their conditions and how best to manage them.

How I thrive

Having a healthy life balance is my key to happiness. My family and I love to travel, swim, hike, fish, bike, and eat. I love going on lunch time runs or lifting weights at the gym, stretching my mind, and reading any genre. I make sure keep abreast of current medical research.
