About Me
I have longed to return to the South throughout my educational career. After graduating from college in the Northeast and medical school in Pennsylvania, I completed a fellowship in North Carolina. I finally returned to Atlanta after my fellowship. I selected medicine as a career because it combines my love of science and my desire to help people. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, I worked in a group practice and as a solo practitioner in the Atlanta area.
About my practice
I am a member of the Kaiser Permanente Neurology Department. We have a caring and efficient support staff to assist us in providing medical care to our members. I believe patient care is a team effort between the physician, patient and support staff. It is important for physicians to communicate complex cases to patients so that their patients may effectively participate in their own care.
How I thrive
I believe that each day is a gift, and it is important we live life to the fullest. Therefore, I enjoy spending time with my family and volunteering with civic organizations. I love all forms of music and started playing the violin at the age of three. Music brings peace and joy to my life. I love singing in my church choir as a second soprano. I also enjoy helping others in need. I visit the sick and shut-in and volunteer with my church.
