About Me

Hi. I am a Kaiser Permanente physician in psychiatry, and am pleased to welcome you to this Web page.

Biography

I'm not originally from Southern California, but have been living here for about 11 years now. I'm from the Pacific Northwest, which almost requires that I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, snowboarding, canoeing, and white-water rafting. Since moving to this area, I've found that there are many places and things to do that remind me of where I came from, which make it feel a little more like home.

About my practice

The team I work with at Canyon Crest Mental Health Offices functions like a family away from my family. Needless to say, there is much teamwork! That also means that we enjoy coming to work and working with each other.

How I thrive

Spending time with family and friends is important. I strive to exercise regularly, not only because I feel it is the best way to stay healthy, but also because I enjoy it. Some of the things I do for exercise include playing basketball, running, hiking, push-ups, snowboarding, and swimming. I also make it a point to take 1 day a week completely free of work and spend it with family and friends.
