Biography

I grew up in Wisconsin and Michigan, which I recall as mostly cold and snowy. I went to medical school in Detroit and trained in Virginia. I moved to California after my residency. I met my wife, who was born in Cuba, on a blind date. We have been married 24 years and have two children who are both in college.

About my practice

Kaiser Permanente Long Beach Medical Offices has a small pediatric office. Four pediatricians and one pediatric nurse practitioner do most of the patient care. We all trust each other and have worked together for many years now.

How I thrive

My hobbies are reading, gardening, cooking, and picking up litter. I walk our dog for an hour each day and pick up litter as I go. I am a fan of the Galaxy, the Dodgers, and the Green Bay Packers.
