About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself. I believe it’s important for members to know and feel comfortable with their physician. I hope this page will help you start to know me better, and I look forward to taking good care of you.

Biography

I was born in Belize, and, as a child, I decided I wanted to become a doctor. After high school, I came to the United States to further my education and pursue my dream. I received my bachelor's degree from USC, where I was honored with as "best qualified graduating senior in biological sciences." I also completed medical school and my residency training in urology at USC. I’m very close to my family and enjoy traveling around the world, and exploring different cultures. My plans for the future include being involved with charitable work in underdeveloped countries where medical help is desperately needed. I’m currently planning to visit Belize about once per year to offer my medical expertise.

About my practice

My practice in urology includes urologic cancer, stones, urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and general urology—including voiding dysfunction—as well as some pediatric urology. The urology physicians in our practice work closely with each other to take good care of our members. I put great emphasis in my family and faith—both play a big role in my life.

How I thrive

I enjoy traveling with my wife and getting to know new places, new cultures, and meeting new people. I also try to go to a few basketball games. Recently there have been two new members in my family—two Shih Tzu puppies. They’ve given my wife and I great joy, and have helped me relax and forget about the current stresses in my life. I also enjoy hiking and walking my dogs.
