About Me

I am a New Mexico native who has become a Colorado transplant, and I love it here. After finishing my studies at Colorado State University, my love of biology and passion for helping people made my decision to pursue a career in medicine an easy choice. After a brief stint in Texas for medical school, I knew that coming back to Colorado would be in the cards for me. That is why I chose to come back to the area for residency and hopefully set up shop here for the foreseeable future.

About my practice

My philosophy in medicine largely revolves around preventing problems before they start and tackling them when they do happen. I enjoy a pretty broad spectrum of care, from children to adults. I really like the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, but that doesn’t mean I don't like the more acute issues too. I enjoy being on the same team as my patients and working with them to make sure they are getting the best care as it applies to them.

How I thrive

I thrive by keeping my mind and body as active as I can. I really enjoy playing the guitar as much as my schedule allows. Luckily staying active is a really easy thing to do in here Northern Colorado. I try to take my bicycle out on the trails as often as possible. I also try to work on my culinary skills and am still trying to master the backyard BBQ grill as well.
