About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to introduce myself, and tell you about my practice.

Biography

I am a Southern California native, and have always wanted to be a physician. It is a great privilege to be able to practice medicine in one of the greatest cities in the world with one of the best healthcare organizations. I trained in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases, lung transplant, and critical care medicine at the University of Southern California.

About my practice

I am the Director of the Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Program at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. I take care of patients in the cardiac surgical intensive care unit, and work with families to help them get through one of the most trying times in their lives. I believe that life is not as short as it is fragile. As such, attention to detail is my top priority.

How I thrive

To maintain my own wellness, my family and my work keep me fit mentally and physically. We are health-conscious people who enjoy being outdoors. My hobbies include running and cycling. My young daughter plays the piano, swims, and studies classical Indian dance. My younger son loves his dog, being a Boy Scout, playing tennis, and tackling his big sister without warning. My wife, a fellow USC alumnus, makes everything I do possible.
