About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I hope this introduction will help you get to know me better. Kaiser Permanente has always been my home away from home. I’ve been associated with this organization since graduating from medical school in 1989.
Biography
I was born in Manila, the Philippines. With my parents and sister, I immigrated to Los Angeles in 1972 when I was 9 years old. Both my grandfathers were physicians, and seeing them at work, I made the decision to become a doctor. I’ve been happily married since 1992. My wife and I are blessed with three wonderful boys.
About my practice
From 1992 until 2007, I worked at the after hours/adult urgent care clinic at Kaiser Permanente’s Los Angeles Medical Center. In 2007, I made the decision to transfer to a day schedule in the Pasadena Medical Offices. This change is allowing me to build a closer relationship with my patients and be directly involved in their care and maintaining their health. My philosophy for patient care is to promote health maintenance and disease prevention. I firmly believe in the saying that an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.
How I thrive
For recreation, I like playing tennis, basketball, and swimming with my family. Every summer, my family and I enjoy visiting relatives in the Philippines.
