About Me
I was born in Indiana and grew up in California. I went to the University of California, Los Angeles for my bachelor's degree and Samuel Merritt University for my master's degree in physician assistant studies.
My wife, whom I met in California, is from Hawaii. I feel fortunate to live in this beautiful place and meet many wonderful people. Most of all, my three children inspire me daily to do my best and to be of service.
About my practice
While growing up, I helped in my father's medical office and saw his impact on his patients' health and general well-being. I heard them express their gratitude to him, saying they felt comforted and at home in his office. My interest in science and my desire to help others, as my father did, led me to a career in medicine.
Working in general surgery is rewarding because of the broad range of procedures involved and the diversity of the teams dedicated to each patient's care.
How I thrive
I maintain my overall wellness by spending quality time with my family, attending church, and exercising. I especially enjoy stretching, running, hiking, and swimming.
