About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to share my life and experiences with you. It is an honor to work at Kaiser Permanente, which has a 21st century vision dedicated to helping you achieve the best of your health (and mine). I am surrounded by wonderful colleagues and members who are dedicated to taking full responsibility for their health. I look forward to working with you in setting the best goals for your health. See you soon!
Biography
I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. I migrated to Southern California for college at Claremont McKenna College in Claremont. I chose to become a doctor during my second year of college because it allows me to meet my personal goals of helping and teaching people, as well as to build relationships that last for years.
About my practice
We have a team of doctors in family medicine. I believe that we provide the best of care and always keep the team concept in our minds. The strongest asset of our department is how we work to serve our members. I enjoy getting to know my panel of patients. It is very important for members to understand how something is diagnosed and managed. I feel that members are more satisfied and devoted to their health when they set and meet their personal goals. Setting goals starts with communication and asking questions. My primary goal is to help my members set personal goals and understand why meeting their goals will improve their health.I am a provider that is knowledgeable and sensitive to the needs of members with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
How I thrive
I love cycling. Over the past seven years, it has become my greatest passion. In 2012, I logged more than 1200 miles. I reached 1700 miles in 2013. I love watching the Kansas City Chiefs (in season and off-season). I truly love spending time with my family, especially taking regular trips to Disneyland and California Adventure.
