About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am a vascular and endovascular surgeon at Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center. I am excited to be back in my home state. I feel privileged to be a part of this amazing group of physicians and to serve the San Diego community.

Biography

I earned my medical degree from Stanford Medical School in 2001. I completed my general surgery training at the Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard, and vascular surgery training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, I am actively involved in training UCSD residents and fellows.

About my practice

I practice a full spectrum of open vascular surgery and minimally invasive catheter-based therapies. My clinical interests include endovascular and open treatment of aortic aneurysms, minimally invasive treatment of the lower extremity disease, carotid endarterectomy and stenting, and treatment of venous disorders and dialysis access. I am excited about the emerging minimally invasive vascular technologies, and I use them to individually design the least invasive treatment strategy for each patient.

How I thrive

I thrive by spending time with my family and friends. Daily walks with my dog and a regular yoga practice keep me fit and at peace.
