About Me

I’m a native of Colorado. I grew up outside of a small farming community in Northern Colorado. I did my undergraduate schooling at Colorado State University and attended the physician assistant program at Midwestern University in Glendale, Ariz. I've spent the majority of my career practicing in Colorado but was fortunate to live and work as a physician assistant in Egypt for nearly four years.

About my practice

I enjoy family medicine because it allows me to see and treat all age groups. I think it is particularly rewarding to get to know entire families and extended families as often times the dynamics of these situations plays into the overall health and well-being of the individual patient. I encourage patients to take an active part in their health care and be a part of the decision making as there are often multiple ways to achieve the same end point.

How I thrive

I thrive by spending time with my family and two dogs. I enjoy music, photography, reading, volunteering, hot springs and foreign travel.
