Welcome to my Web page! I have been a pediatrician with Kaiser Permanente since 1989. I love my work.

Biography

Born in San Antonio, Texas, I am the eldest of nine children. I am Hispanic and fluent in Spanish. I became a physician after becoming a registered pediatric nurse. Being a pediatrician is very fulfilling, and I look forward to coming to work daily. I am married and have two grown children and a grandchild. I am also an animal lover and have one Boston terrier.

About my practice

I work in the Redlands Medical Offices now and just love it! All of the staff are on the same wavelength when it comes to keeping our pediatric members healthy. The families of the children I see are encouraged to call my office with any concerns. I am a strong believer in immunizing children, for their own safety, as well as the safety of others. I will be retiring soon but will continue some part-time work.

How I thrive

I stay in good spirits by remaining positive and being able to laugh at myself. Making the rounds with residents while teaching them the art of pediatrics helps keep me up to date. Gardening, walking my dog, and getting away occasionally keep me renewed and refreshed.
