About Me

I was born in Mexico to American parents, the oldest of four girls. I have an older brother and a twin. While in college I worked as a receptionist for Ricardo Espinosa, O.D. who recognized my abilities and encouraged me to go to Optometry School. I graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1981. I specialize in fitting soft and rigid contact lenses.

I live in Redlands and this coming August 23 I will celebrate my 35th anniversary to an amazing husband. We have three daughters, two of which are married and have made us grandparents to 4 wonderful grandchildren. My hobby is spending time with hubby and reading when I can get the time.

About my practice

I work at the Kaiser Redlands Medical Office. We have an amazing team of Optometrists, Opticians, Contact Lens Fitter and Clerical Support. I love the opportunity to meet my patients and help improve their lives by helping meet their visual needs. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their work, family and recreational interests. My philosophy is to be a positive part of my patients vision care. I love being a part of the Kaiser Permanente family of practitioners.

How I thrive

I enjoy going to the gym with my husband and walking the dogs every evening. In my free time I like to spend time with my children, my grandchildren and my friends. I love praying and spending time in God's word, which enriches my mind, body and spirit.
