About Me
I am originally from Charleston, South Carolina, and have been in Colorado with Kaiser Permanente since 2004. I attended the Medical University of South Carolina and completed my internal medicine residency at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, before returning to South Carolina for my cardiology fellowship. I am board certified in cardiovascular disease. I am married, with 3 children, 2 dogs, a horse, and numerous reptiles, amphibians and aquatic creatures. I love Duke basketball, Denver Broncos football, and the Chilean national soccer team.
About my practice
My goal is to give every patient I see the quality of medical care I would want for myself or for my own family members. I value my relationship with patients and strive to listen and to communicate as clearly as possible. Ultimately, I aim to educate patients and their families so that they understand their choices and make decisions that they feel are best. I am fortunate to work with an outstanding group of physicians, nurses and other health care professionals who share these goals.
How I thrive
I do my best to strike a balance between work and family, rest and play, thought and action. I am a lifelong student.
