I was born and raised in Inglewood, where I wrestled and played football at Lennox High School.
My daughter was born with a condition that caused her eyes to cross, and I was intrigued when the problem was solved by an optometrist who specialized in children’s vision. I decided to investigate further, and here I am.
I practice at the wonderful Kaiser Permanente Tustin Ranch Medical Offices, where the caring opticians are highly trained and the nurses are saints. I have switched from children's vision to serving mostly senior citizens with low vision and working adults suffering with computer eyestrain.
I have participated in senior wrestling and jujitsu tournaments, where I have won several national and world titles. I also do volunteer work with teenagers in the City of Santa Ana, where they call me "coach doc."
