About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to let you know more about me and what I love about my practice.
Biography
I am a California native and received most of my training in this great state. After my undergraduate training at University of California - Berkeley, I worked in technology investment banking in San Francisco. After a few years, I realized my true calling was in medicine, so I enrolled at Keck School of Medicine at University of Southern California, where I received my medical degree. I went on to complete my medical internship at Huntington Memorial Hospital in California and my diagnostic radiology residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. I then spent a wonderful year in Boston completing further specialized fellowship training in vascular and interventional radiology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital.
About my practice
As an interventional radiologist, I use imaging tools such as X-rays, CT scan, or ultrasound combined with minimally invasive techniques to perform procedures. Many of these procedures have replaced traditional open surgery and give patients less risk, less pain, and less recovery time. I perform a wide variety of interventional procedures, but have particular interest in peripheral arterial disease interventions, interventional oncology, biopsies, dialysis access interventions, and gastrointestinal and genitourinary interventions.
How I thrive
I love to spend time outdoors with my family and try to get out to the beach and parks near us as much as I can. When indoors, I love cooking family dinners.
