About Me
I am a native of Providence, R.I. and relocated to Atlanta in 2008 to attend graduate school at Emory University. I knew from the time I observed my first birth that I wanted to work in women's health, and I have not looked back since! Each day that I am privileged to do this work, I see new and beautiful diversity in my patients and their experiences. When I am not at work, I live in Decatur with my wife, son, dog and two cats.
About my practice
As a certified nurse midwife (CNM), I work in the dynamic Kaiser Permanente Ob/Gyn Department that includes midwives, doctors and nurse practitioners. Together, we work hard to provide safe, thorough and individualized care throughout a woman's life cycle. As a midwife, I see members not only for pregnancy and birth care, but also for annual exams, gynecologic problems and menopause. Through these experiences, I love getting to know our members and individualizing my care so that each woman is respected and supported in preserving and improving her health.
How I thrive
I thrive by trying new things! I love travel and have spent time in many countries including India, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Norway and Costa Rica. On a day-to-day basis, I enjoy time with my family, city parks, live music and lazy Saturdays.
