About Me

Thank you for visiting my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice.

Biography

Born in Taiwan, I moved with my family to Southern California at age 16. After graduating from Claremont High School, I attended college at the UC Berkeley. I then ventured to New England for medical school and earned my medical degree at Tufts University in Boston. After four years of cold winters, I returned to Los Angeles for an internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship training. After nephrology training at USC, I stayed on as faculty for two years prior to joining Kaiser Permanente.

About my practice

I chose to practice nephrology because the kidneys are the chemists of the body and perform many functions. In general, I believe in a shared approach to health care decision-making. I will provide you as much information as I can, and make suggestions about what I think will be the most sensible course of action for you so that you can make an informed choice that is best for you.

How I thrive

My family life is my major priority. When I am not working, I have my hands full being a working mother of three. My children, my husband and I all enjoy hiking and the outdoors.
