About Me

I was born in Arizona and grew up in Texas (Hook ‘em!), but I spent my childhood summers here in Denver and I am so grateful my journey has led me back to Colorado. I love the outdoors and all the sunshine!

About my practice

I love family medicine because I get to enjoy the variety of serving patients at every stage of life. I have a passion for preventive medicine and I am an advocate for an active healthy lifestyle, which I believe can help treat and improve many common chronic conditions. Everyone needs to find a balance in their life, and I work with my patients to create an environment where they can be successful. I am direct in my communication, a good listener, and I value shared decision-making. I see all ages, but I thrive with children, adolescents and young adults because preventive medicine can really shape a healthy lifestyle. I provide IUDs, Nexplanon, joint injections and skin procedures.

How I thrive

Thriving to me is about finding and maintaining a work-life balance. I enjoy being active, whether it is running and road biking, running after my husband and daughter, or going on a family bike ride. I enjoy flow and Bikram yoga, reading a good book (I’m currently on a David Mitchell binge), or getting out of town to camp or hike in the mountains. I love learning new things. I am slowly learning to play the guitar and I am trying out my green thumb with a small herb and lettuce garden.
