About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and members like you. I very much look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

I have been at Kaiser Permanente for 25 years and still love my job, whether I'm delivering babies, seeing members, or engaged in gynecological surgery. I moved from New York to Los Angeles after residency and fell in love with the sunny weather. I decided to make Southern California my home for good. I come from a large family and now have a growing family of my own, including four young children. My lovely wife is my rock and foundation.

About my practice

Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way. In my profession, I utilize my medical skills and knowledge, but I also listen and respond to what members need. Being a physician allows people to share with me their fears and hopes. It's a privilege to help patients understand what concerns them, explain what they may not grasp, get them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that members have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings to Lakers games, and playing basketball with my sons and nephew, or taking them skateboarding. Nutritional health and fitness are part of my life and I always try to stress these factors with my patients. On a personal level, I enjoy yoga, Pilates, and outdoor training. I also collect sports cards. Currently, I am trying to reduce my intake of red meat. You may ask me how I am doing with this!
