About Me

I originally moved to Colorado to complete my internal medicine residency training, and I stayed for the beautiful scenery and weather. I have a wonderful family and am proud to be a caring parent to my children. I have wanted to be a physician since I was 5 years old and am so glad my dream came to fruition—the daily interactions I have with the medical team and my patients provide me a great sense of purpose, and I love the practice of medicine.

About my practice

I provide care for adults over the age of 18 who are admitted to the hospital. I strive to explain medical care in an understandable way and practice evidence-based medicine. I listen to understand my patients’ questions and concerns, so we can provide the most appropriate care for their needs. I value a team-based approach to patient care. I also have the privilege of working with and teaching residents in training, and I continue to learn and grow as a physician myself on a daily basis.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time with family, traveling (especially visiting national parks and the ocean), and reading books of all types.
