I'm glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you, and to share other information about myself. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1979, almost 29 yrs ago! I came from New York with my wife and three young daughters to Upland, California to work at Kaiser Fontana Ob/Gyn Department. Our children grew up with in-school and out-school activities like music, gymnastics, swimming, diving and soccer--a lot of fun. They all became medical doctors; my middle daughter is at Kaiser Permanente, doing the last year of a sports medicine fellowship.
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what you might need. It is a privilege to help you understand what concerns you, and to communicate with you and your families. I feel very honored that patients have entrusted me with their care, and strive to treat them as I would my own family.
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of staying well in mind, body, and spirit, and try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings; my wife and I, and sometimes my daughters go out to Claremont Trails several times a week.
