About Me

I am proud to be a member of the psychiatry and addiction medicine department at Kaiser Permanente Point Loma Medical Offices, and am committed to providing members the best possible care.

Biography

After graduation from Cairo University Medical School, I came to the United States for residency training in general psychiatry at Wayne State University, and child and adolescent psychiatry training at UC San Diego. I have practiced at Kaiser Permanente for almost 25 years, and am an assistant professor of psychiatry at UC San Diego.

About my practice

I primarily treat inpatients at Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital, where I provide psychiatric care to children and adolescents.

How I thrive

Listening and learning from the members in my care helps me stay balanced. For recreation and relaxation, I enjoy playing most sports, watching golf and tennis, traveling, and listening to music.
