About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am glad to introduce myself, and share a bit about my work. I have practiced internal medicine for over 20 years. It is a privilege to collaborate with Kaiser Permanente’s many excellent physicians as part of our team approach to healthcare.

Biography

I am of Chinese ethnicity, and was born in Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. I grew up in Chicago, and lived there for over 20 years. Chicago is where I received my medical education and training. What I value most in my life is my family, my spiritual faith, and making a positive difference in people's lives. I am blessed with my devoted wife of over 23 years, and our three children – all of whom are special gifts to us. We moved to Southern California to be closer to relatives, and we now reside in the beautiful city of Murrieta.

About my practice

I pursued medicine to be of service to others, and believe the patient and doctor relationship is sacred. My practice adheres to a philosophy of total health that encompasses physical, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing. It is an enormous privilege to help patients maintain good health through promotion of preventive services, to treat illness and restore health, and to provide compassionate care that offers hope and comfort. I value the important contributing roles of my nurses, clinical educators, and other physician colleagues, who together as a team provide comprehensive quality care for all of my patients.

How I thrive

It is my belief that human beings are created with both body and spirit. Life balance is key to good health. When I am not working, I strive to nurture my relationships with family and friends, as well as with my faith community. To nurture my body, I try to make healthy lifestyle choices, eat a balanced diet, and stay fit by walking regularly. For recreation, I enjoy music, reading, and travel with family.
