About Me

Welcome to my Web page! I hope the information you find here will be helpful to you in getting to know more about me.

Biography

I was born and raised in Southern California, but my parents are from Puerto Rico. I am the fourth of seven children. I decided I wanted to become a physician because I saw a great need for Spanish- speaking physicians. Also, my father is a minister and I watched how he has helped people all his life. I wanted to be in a profession that would do the same. I am married and have two beautiful children.

About my practice

My team consists of nurses, medical assistants and other health professional that all work together to provide responsive care to our patients. I treat many Latino patients, many of whom only speak Spanish. Most of our team members speak Spanish. I like to treat our patients like family. We focus a lot on preventive care because we know how important this is to keep our patients healthy and happy.

How I thrive

Keeping balance in my life is very important to me; having healthy relationships at home and work is invaluable. I love spending time with my family; that helps me keep everything in perspective, particularly on my busiest or most stressful days. My hobbies include singing and volunteering to work with the children at my local church.
