About Me
I’m a Jersey boy, born and raised, but I don’t have an accent! I attended Messiah College, a Christian liberal arts school in Pennsylvania, as an undergraduate and then worked for the government at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland, doing gene therapy research. I went on to study at Rutgers Medical School for my medical degree and while there managed to fall in love with an amazing international nurse who said she’d never marry a doctor. I did my plastic surgery training at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania, followed by an additional microsurgery fellowship at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. I worked in private practice in the Midwest before finding Kaiser Permanente in Denver, and I am thrilled to be part of such an amazing team.
About my practice
I specialize in reconstructive surgery. I love solving complex surgical problems and working with other specialties to find solutions that get people back to health. “We restore, repair and make whole the parts which nature has given but which fortune has taken away, not so much that they may delight the eye but that they may buoy up the spirit and help the mind of the afflicted.” – Gaspare Tagliacozzi, Plastic Surgeon, Bologna, Italy – 1545-1599
How I thrive
I love spending time with my wife and three kids while enjoying all that Colorado has to offer. I love to ski, cook, golf and travel and we are part of a great church community. I also dabble in DIY projects that don’t put my life or hands in danger.
