About Me

I completed medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, my ophthalmology residency at the University of California-Davis Medical Center and my glaucoma fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.

About my practice

I was drawn to glaucoma as a medical sub-specialty due to my love for providing continuing care to my patients, by helping them make informed decisions about their eyes. There are a lot of myths and misconceptions about glaucoma. If I can help each patient make the right decision for their eyes, we can help reduce the amount of blindness from this irreversible cause of vision loss. My goal is to help my patients outlive their vision and to answer their questions as a partner in maintaining their health.

How I thrive

I thrive by spending time with my family and friends who love being active. I don't have a dog yet, but that will change soon.
