Family is my greatest joy and highest priority. We have three sons and 10 grandchildren whom we delight in seeing. We lived in the Midwest most of our lives but vacationed frequently in Colorado and decided to move here. It is beautiful.
I practice supportive care (previously called palliative care), which typically involves caring for patients with serious chronic illness. I find it satisfying to assist patients as they navigate the complex journey of coping and adapting to life with chronic illness. I strive to always provide patient-centered care. I enjoy listening to patients to learn about them as individuals, not only as patients. My goal is to assist patients in identifying and achieving their most important medical goals whenever possible. I work as a team with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate my patients’ care. My practice is limited to inpatients at Sky Ridge Medical Center.
I exercise regularly. Also, my wife and I enjoy traveling throughout the state enjoying the scenic beauty.
