About Me
I grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Loyola University, I attended medical school on a Health Professions Scholarship with the U.S. Navy. I completed my medical education in New Jersey at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Subsequently, I served as a flight doctor in Japan for two years. Following that service, I returned and completed my residency in pediatrics at Naval Medical Center San Diego. I finished my nine years of service as a general pediatrician and Head of Pediatrics at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. I am excited to continue my career as a civilian pediatrician with Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
I have dedicated my life to the promotion of wellness in children. My previous experience providing health care for the children of our U.S. Navy sailors and Marines was tremendously rewarding, and I am happy to have the opportunity now to apply my knowledge and skills to the care of your child.
How I thrive
My family is a centering presence and focus in my life. My husband and I met in the U.S. Navy, and we now have a young daughter. We have lived and traveled all over the world. I enjoy exercise: I will run, use the treadmill or elliptical, do yoga or kickboxing — but most of all I love to swim. We strive to instill water safety in our daughter, and parent-and-child swim lessons have been some of our favorite moments. Additionally, I enjoy trying to cook. Finally, we love a good Eagles football game!
