About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I would like to use this opportunity to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician at Kaiser Permanente. I am an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of conditions of the hand and upper extremity. I feel fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente and to be involved in your healthcare.

Biography

I am a Florida native, having spent most of my early life in Orlando. I completed my undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC and then earned my medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL. I then completed my residency training in orthopedic surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL. Following residency, I moved to the West Coast where I completed the Joseph H. Boyes Fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles.

About my practice

I practice orthopedic surgery with a focus on conditions of the hand and upper extremity. I strongly believe that you, the patient, should be an autonomous and active participant in your healthcare. I will work to help you feel comfortable in the office, where we will discuss the nature of your problem as well as the surgical and non-surgical treatment options. It is my goal that, by the end of your visit, you will have gained both a greater understanding of your diagnosis and a treatment plan that works best for you.

How I thrive

I believe that a healthy work-life balance is important. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, surfing, running, playing guitar and drums, and hiking.
