About Me
I am a Colorado native. I grew up in Englewood and live in Denver. I moved away once, but had to get back to the Colorado sun (with sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and long sleeves, of course!). I have two wonderful daughters and two dogs. I am passionate about taking care of my patients and helping you learn to take care of your skin.
About my practice
I chose dermatology because it allows me to take care of autoimmune diseases and cancers, perform surgeries, and understand pathology in one field. I love being able to help improve a patient’s health and how you feel about yourself by helping treat your skin diseases. Taking care of patients is my passion, and I want you to be involved in your care. I try to provide options for treatments whenever possible, and want treatments to fit your priorities and lifestyle! You can reach me by email or phone if you have questions but don’t need an in-person appointment. I am interested in all areas of dermatology. I am happy to see patients of all ages, although some issues need to be seen by our pediatric dermatologist. I see patients at the Franklin Medical Offices, as well as the Frisco Medical Offices.
How I thrive
I volunteer at a clinic for uninsured/underinsured patients to help bring them dermatology care. I also teach the internal medicine residents at the University of Colorado and Saint Joseph Hospital. I have previously served on the board for the Colorado Dermatologic Society. My family and I like to enjoy Colorado on the weekends – hiking, skiing and trying to learn some new sports like paddleboarding. We love to travel and see other parts of the world, and we most recently visited Scotland, Iceland and Italy. I like to cook when I have the time, and am always trying new recipes.
