About Me
Hi, and welcome to my Web page. I am proud to be a physician with Kaiser Permanente. Our members are what matter and we strive to make sure that we do everything we can to make sure that you are treated in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
Biography
I was born and raised in Wisconsin. I attended the University of Wisconsin as an undergraduate and medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I met my wife in medical school and we married the day after we graduated. I completed my five-year general surgical residency with the Cleveland Clinic and decided to pursue a fellowship in vascular surgery. My wife, new daughter, and I went to Springfield, IL, where I spent two years refining my surgery skills. I was delighted to find a full-time position here in West Los Angeles. I had a son here at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles.
About my practice
The West Los Angeles vascular surgery group functions as a unit. We treat nearly all arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders. It is my goal not just to help treat you, but also to help you take charge of a healthy lifestyle.
How I thrive
I know it is sometimes difficult to make healthy decisions with a busy lifestyle, but even little changes can make a difference: I try to ride my bike to work, drink water instead of soda, and take the stairs instead of the elevator. I also like to get outside with family and friends. In Southern California, the people are great, the weather is outstanding, and we are close to my wife's family. We really enjoy going out for family bike rides, especially to the coast. I am a pretty big movie buff as well.
