About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am a board-certified radiologist working at Los Angeles Medical Center.

Biography

I grew up in Texas and went to Harvard University for college. I chose to become a doctor to combine my interest in science and health. I enjoyed going to medical school by the beach at Galveston, Texas. I completed my residency in diagnostic radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri before completing a fellowship in abdominal imaging at Mallinckrodt in 2005. I transferred to the Los Angeles Kaiser Permanente from San Francisco Kaiser Permanente in October 2006.

About my practice

I work in a subspecialized group of 25 radiologists in an academic setting. I train the residents at our program, primarily in genitourinary and gastrointestinal radiology, and enjoy focusing on education.

How I thrive

I stay healthy by jogging, weight training, Pilates, and yoga. I enjoy taking cooking lessons and playing piano. Most of all, I love spending time with my family. I have a son and twin daughters.
