About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice.
Biography
Although I was born in Taiwan, I was brought up here in Los Angeles. I came from a family of doctors, and I saw how my family members enjoyed their interactions with their patients. I knew that I also wanted to be able to make a real difference in people’s lives, and caring for patients who are hospitalized has given me that opportunity.
About my practice
I feel privileged to be able to care for our members and work with my wonderful colleagues. I was the chief of the hospital medicine division at South Bay Medical Center from 2003 to 2012. Currently, I work full-time managing the care and services our members received at out-of-network hospitals. I believe in a team approach in all aspects of your care, seeking input from our esteemed expert specialists. My colleagues and I are always working to provide you with the most up-to-date treatments, either within or outside of Kaiser Permanente areas, as we try to make your recovery as rapid as possible.
How I thrive
I play tennis regularly on Sunday mornings to keep myself physically fit. In my spare time, my family and I bike or rollerblade at the area beaches. For vacations, I enjoy traveling in the United States and Asia.
