About Me

Hello! Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician.

Biography

I was born and raised in Santa Monica, where my mother worked as a nurse. Being surrounded by medical professionals all my life, it was natural to have the desire to work in the health care field. After moving away for college at Berkeley, I realized how much I missed the warm weather and sunny beaches of Southern California. Consequently, I decided to attend medical school, residency, and ultimately work near my hometown, family, and friends. Another passion of mine is to travel and discover new cultures, food, and meet different people around the world. I have been able to intertwine my two passions—traveling and medicine—and have gone on several medical mission trips.

About my practice

I firmly believe the mind and body are strongly connected and have the capacity to affect the physical health of a person. I want to ensure that I treat my patients in both aspects and really get to know you beyond your physical ailments. Earning your trust and giving you peace of mind is a priority. In addition, I believe that health care should not simply cease when a person recovers from a disease or ailment. That is why I try to promote healthy living and preventive care to help you flourish and not just remain at the status quo.

How I thrive

In alignment with my health philosophy, I stay active by jogging, participating in fitness classes, snowboarding, and volunteering at local and overseas clinics. I also maintain a balance in my life by going on weekend getaways with my husband, exploring new cuisines, and surrounding myself with friends and family.
