About Me
Hi, my name is Sima.
Biography
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area after my family immigrated to the United States years ago. I moved to Los Angeles for my fellowship training in endocrinology and metabolism at the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA)/West Los Angeles Veterans Administration program, and made Southern California my home for good. I have always appreciated the importance of nutrition and fitness. I consider both elements crucial for the maintenance of healthfulness and the management of endocrine system diseases.
About my practice
I have devoted my medical knowledge and skills to help my patients and connect with their needs. I truly believe that paying particular attention to patients' concerns and helping them to understand and learn about their conditions translates into better self-care.
How I thrive
Throughout the day, I strive to practice mindfulness, which simply means to bring my full presence to all that I do. Conscious attention to each activity and interaction brings a calm to my mind and heart. As I practice healthy behaviors like meditation, exercising, eating well, and other avenues available on the road of loving self-care, I begin to heal and see situations improve.
