About Me

Thank you for visiting my Web page! I enjoy getting to know my members and their families, and I hope this page will allow you to get to know me, too. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente and I look forward to working with you to care for your child.

Biography

I’m originally from New York and completed my training back on the East Coast, but I’m happy to have settled here in San Diego. I was born and raised on Long Island, then went to college and medical school in upstate New York. I graduated from Albany Medical College and then completed my pediatrics training at Westchester Medical Center. I moved to California with my husband in 2009 and started working for Kaiser Permanente in San Diego in 2011.

About my practice

I’m a strong advocate of preventive medicine—including the importance of healthy eating, remaining active, and keeping up with immunizations. I believe getting to know families through regular well-child care will help establish a good relationship and help me to best care for your child when they’re ill. I believe good communication is key in providing good health care, and I strive to listen to all of your concerns. As a pediatrician, my goal is to partner with parents to ensure their children develop properly and remain healthy. Having children of my own has made me further realize the importance of having a pediatrician that you’re comfortable with to work together to ensure the best health of your child. I feel honored to be a part of my members' lives and to be able watch them grow and develop from that very first newborn visit into healthy teens and adults.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time outdoors and feel very fortunate to live in San Diego, where I can spend time with my family outdoors year-round. My two young sons definitely keep me active, but I also enjoy hiking, swimming, and practicing yoga. I love traveling, but also love exploring more locally with my family.
